Editing Assistants

Assistants help you automatically create and publish content for your social media. You can create as many assistants as you want, each handling different tasks, or use one assistant for multiple channels.

Contents

Prerequisites

Before you can use an assistant, you need:

  • A text template with the placeholder (( Topic ))
  • For Instagram posts:
  • Either an image template with the placeholder (( Content ))
  • Or at least one image from your media library
  • At least one topic tree

How It Works

When the assistant is active, it goes through the following steps:

  1. Time-based Execution: The assistant runs at the defined time
  2. Topic Selection: A random topic is selected from the chosen topic tree (less frequently used topics are preferred)
  3. Template Processing: The selected template is called with the topic and the placeholder (( Topic )) is replaced
  4. AI Processing: The final content is passed to the AI for text generation
  5. Image Selection (optional): If an image template is selected, the placeholder (( Content )) is replaced with the generated content and an image is generated. If images from the media library are selected, a random image is chosen. If both are set, only the image template will be used.
  6. Storage: Text content and optional image are saved in the post
  7. Publication: The post is published in the selected social media channels

Activation

An assistant can only be activated when all warnings in the status display are resolved. Automatic deactivation occurs when:

  • Templates or topic trees used by the assistant are deleted
  • Connection problems with social media occur

Configuration

1. Basic Configuration

Define how the assistant should create content:

  • Select a text template
  • Select a topic tree
  • For Instagram:
  • Select an image template or
  • Select at least one image from your media library

2. Channels

Define the target platforms for your content:

  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • LinkedIn

3. Schedule

Configure the publication times:

  • Weekdays
  • Times

Tip: For more complex schedules, you can create multiple assistants with different configurations.

Optimization

Personalization

Give your assistant:

  • A meaningful name (e.g., "Max", "Lisa", "Promoter", "Blogger", etc.)
  • A characteristic image

This helps with overview and identification of your assistants.

Use Tags

Add tags that are automatically added to all posts of the assistant.

These tags are automatically appended to each publication and help with categorization and findability of your content.

Multiple Assistants

Create different assistants for:

  • Different topics
  • Various templates
  • Separate channels
  • Individual schedules

Example: A weekly Facebook assistant for specific topics and a separate LinkedIn assistant with different templates.

Template Variety

Create specific templates for:

  • LinkedIn (formal style)
  • Facebook (informal style)
  • Instagram (visually optimized)

Important

Test your templates intensively and adjust them before integrating them into the assistants.
