Social Accounts

In the Social Media Account management, you can manage and connect your social media accounts with Sitemaister.

Important Requirements

• Facebook requires a business page
• Instagram requires a business account
• LinkedIn supports both personal and business accounts

Establishing Connection

1. Click on the corresponding social media icon
2. You will be redirected to the respective platform
3. Authorize Sitemaister for access
4. After successful authorization, all available accounts/pages will be displayed
5. You can then select these in the assistants and social media posts

Security and Data Protection

• All authorization information is stored encrypted
• No data sharing with third parties
• You can revoke access at any time
• Regular security checks

Expiration and Renewal

• Authorizations automatically expire after 2 months
• You will receive a reminder email 14 days before expiration
• To renew:
• Click on the corresponding social media icon
• Or use the "Reconnect" button
• Complete the authorization process again

Deleting Accounts

You can remove your social media accounts from Sitemaister at any time:

1. Navigate to the Social Media Account management
2. Click on the "Delete" icon next to the respective account
3. Confirm the deletion in the confirmation dialog

Note

Deleting an account in Sitemaister has no effect on your actual social media accounts. Only the connection data is removed.
